This animation comprises of monotypes ,drawn frames and layered with film.

I am experimenting with contrasting styles of narration.One which facilitates a chain of conciousness ,with the process leading and making the story,the other a backbone of concrete narrative that the viewer can follow.

In reality the two interwine and end up reflecting and supporting each other.

The viewer is prompted now and again with moments of clarity that seem out of reach. Aware that each strand of narrative is effectively striving to say the same things on different levels and by different means.

Inward.This was projected onto Japanese paper which made it more tactile than a screen or a smooth wall.Im experimenting with fragmented narrative and playing around with other methods than a linear way of story telling.This was my first attempt at stop motion but there will be more Im sure.
